Hello World!

2 min read

My new portfolio and blog are live! I have a good lineup of thoughts and commentary I'd like to publish on all of my (myriad) development and project management interests, along with a slate of new and improved features I am planning to add to this site (like blog subscriptions, Interactive 3D Content, and more!).

Home Page I finally have my new site up and running! Simple in its design, but clean, easy to navigate, and clear in its intent. I have a lot of content I'm excited to talk about, so I hope I can keep this blog alive. I also have a bevy of enhancements I'm planning to make to the site that I'll touch on briefly here as well.

What's Coming to the Blog

The intersection of project management, development, and 3D artistry creates some fascinating challenges and opportunities that I'm excited to explore here. I'll be touching on various aspects of the projects I have running at the moment, challenges, and solutions I've come up with. I've got some games cooking, and a decently complex web project (working title, Campaign Architecttm) I'm starting up to help Tabletop Roleplaying Game Masters (TTRPG GMs, or just GMs) plan and organize their games. It's a tool entering a crowded space with lots of great work being done. For this one, I'm working on solving my problems, and I hope others are as well! Sneak peak on a small bit of branding work I've done (NO AI used in this design :))

Site Enhancements on the Horizon

While I kept the initial launch intentionally streamlined, I have several enhancements planned that will make this site more interactive and engaging. First up is a dynamic project showcase where you'll be able to explore my 3D work through embedded viewers and interactive demos—because static screenshots don't do justice to immersive experiences. I'll probably be ramping up on Three.js for this.
I'm also building out a more robust case study section that will walk through my process from initial concept to final delivery, complete with lessons learned and technical insights. I'm also going to implement some smooth animations and micro-interactions that demonstrate the kind of attention to detail I bring to client projects.

Looking Forward

This site represents more than just a portfolio—it's a space for sharing the unique perspective that comes from straddling financial strategy and creative technology. Whether you're here for project management insights, technical tutorials, or just curious about how someone with my diverse background approaches life, I hope you'll find content that engages and inspires.

Thanks for being part of this journey from day one. Let's build something interesting together.
